Robert Wayne 'Bob' Sellers, 66

Robert Wayne Sellers, 66, of Missoula, passed away on Friday, Sept. 9, 2011, of natural causes.

He was born July 5, 1945, in Centerville, Iowa, to George and Catherine Sellers and grew up on a farm with his family in Bagley, Iowa. Growing up, he loved sports and being in the outdoors. He graduated from YJB High school in 1963.

In 1965 he joined the Air Force and was later transferred to Malstrom Air Force Base in Great Falls. There he met the love of his life and married Sheryl Diane Sellers on June 17, 1967.

He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who thoroughly loved hunting, fishing and spending time with his grandchildren. 

Survivors include his wife, Sherry, of Missoula; two sons and their families, Bill and Kim of Kalispell, and Wade and Jackie of Missoula; brother, Larry, of Scranton, Iowa; four sisters, Margaret of Davenport, Iowa, Mary of Yale, Iowa, Jane of Farmersberg, Iowa, and Ruth of Bagley. There are numerous other friends and relatives that were dear to his heart.

There will be a reception is his honor from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 17, at the Wingate Inn of Missoula.

Cremation & Burial Society of the Rockies assisted the family with arrangements.
