The Glacier Wolfpack got off to a fast start, built some cushion between itself and visiting Helena Capital and came away with a 25-16, 25-18, 24-26, 25-12 Western AA volleyball victory over Helena Capital (0-3, 2-7) on Saturday.

"We maintained a higher level of consistency today. We had continued strong passing today. It was very nice," Glacier coach Christy Harkins.

There was a slight mid-set bobble in the third.

But the Wolfpack (2-1, 4-4) stepped on the gas for a 25-12 fourth set victory.

"I was very pleased with how they responded in set four," Harkins said.

"We got a nice string of points behind Hannah Liss."

Liss served three straight aces as the Wolfpack built fourth-set leads of 8-2 and 17-6.

"It was a good weekend. We competed hard. I thought Cassidy Hashley had a great weekend. She just really dominated at the net," the coach said.

Lexy Boschee had 16 kills for Glacier. Hannah Liss turned in 35 assists and served six aces and Hashley had four blocks and six kills.

The Wolfpack is off until Thursday when it plays host to Flathead.
