Libby boys settle for soccer tie with Badgers

BONNERS FERRY, Idaho - Barak Lapka put Libby on the scoreboard first with a goal 21 minutes into play, but the Bonners Ferry Badgers scored once in the final half for a 1-1 nonconference boys soccer tie on Monday.

Andre Varate scored at 51 minutes to tie it.

Rob Hamilton had five goalie saves for Libby.

Libby plays a Northern A match on Saturday at Whitefish, noon.
