Elderly woman gets 'out of control'

The Kalispell Police Department responded to an incident regarding a 90-year-old woman who was “out of control.” The woman was reportedly swinging her walker around, hitting nurses and refusing to calm down.

A purse was reported stolen from a vehicle on Grandview Drive.

A woman reporting sexual assault said she now believes the suspect also stole her handgun.

Some EMT gear was reported missing from a vehicle that was ransacked on Eighth Avenue West.

A man reported his ex-wife used his Social Security number to open up several credit cards and argued Kalispell police weren’t doing anything to help him and he wanted to file a report with county police. He was advised that he could not file the same thing with the county just because he was not happy with hwo Kalispell was handling the complaint.

A basket containing miscellaneous items including recently purchased items and a checkbook was reported stolen from a vehicle on Sunny View Lane.

The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office received a report of two boys and three girls climbing on a roof in Hungry Horse.

Obscene graffiti was reported written on a residence on Third Avenue South in Hungry Horse.

A .22 caliber Ruger pistol was reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle on Copper Road in Kalispell.

An iPod was reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle on Redfield Lane in Lakeside.

A vehicle was reported broken into on Brass Road in Lakeside. Nothing was stolen.

The Columbia Falls Police Department received a report that someone shot a hole in a window on 11th Street West, and neighbors had stated they saw younger boys with BB guns a few days earlier.

A caller reported a 15-year-old boy was walking down Ninth Street West with a machete.

Officers with the Lake County Sheriff’s Office cited a person for disorderly conduct after responding to a report of assault of a parent or family member on Ninth Avenue West.

A theft was reported on Fourth Avenue West.
