Flathead County Animal Shelter Open House

Janette Reynolds of Kalispell holds Misty, a 1-2 year old cat she is considering adopting, at the Flathead County Animal Shelter on Thursday afternoon in Kalispell. On Saturday the Shelter will be having their Fall Open House from 11a.m. to 4 p.m. at 225 Cemetery Road. According to Shelter Director Cliff Bennett 500 Rabies Vaccinations were recently donated, and the Shelter will be giving these away for free to the first 500 dogs and cats on Saturday. The vaccinations will be given to Flathead County residents only. In addition to the vaccinations the Animal Shelter will be offering low cost microchipping, dog licenses and adoption speacials.
