Mom says son may have been high
The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office received a report from a Bigfork family residing on Canyon Trail that they had locked their 18-year-old son out of the house because he was threatening to kill them and telling them that he is God. His mother said he smokes marijuana but recently returned from out of state and may be on LSD or stronger drugs.
A woman reported her husband kicked her in the face three times, but she refused medical treatment. Both were intoxicated.
A Kalispell woman living on Foy’s Canyon Road reported she keeps finding other people’s trashed property roughly 150 feet from her home. One item she found was a purse, which she returned to the owner, who said it was stolen. She said she has also found a laptop, paperwork and baby pictures.
A Whitefish woman living on Twin Lakes Road reported a man was firing a gun along the ridge by her home Sunday, videotaping her trying to repair part of the road Monday and walking around her property with a flashlight Tuesday night. She also said she found spent 12-gauge casings in her yard Tuesday and that all her dogs had been set loose.
Vandalism was reported on Farm to Market Road in Kalispell, where tractor lights and a bailer tire were taken and windows broken out.
A resident of U.S. 2 East in Kalispell asked for extra patrols because there had been several thefts from vehicles recently.
The Kalispell Police Department received a report of a man walking along U.S. 93 North near Four Mile Drive wearing only a dark green sleeping bag.
A Leisure Drive resident reported his or her house was paintballed two nights in a row.
A resident of Fifth Avenue East was cited for having a vicious dog after it was reported a pit bull at the residence pushed through an unlatched gate and charged at a person.
A man on Eighth Avenue East was arrested for an outstanding warrant.
A laptop, $235 and three guns were reported stolen following the burglary of an apartment on Appleway Drive.
Officers with the Whitefish Police Department arrested an intoxicated driver on Montana 40 West.
The Lake County Sheriff’s Office investigated a report of suspicious activity at Meinsinger Trail.
