Peggy Louise Zimmerle, 85

Peggy Louise Zimmerle, 85, passed away March 15, 2012, in Kalispell. 

Peggy was born Aug. 5, 1926, in Gary, Ind., the daughter of Fred and Charlotte (Hunt) Connors.

She went through the 11th grade of schooling and married Claude Zimmerle in Gary. They had been married for 60 years. Primarily a housewife for the family, Peggy enjoyed games. Her family was her life and her church activities were very important to her.

Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and "Lottie"; son, Kevin; son-in-law, Bill Cartwright; and brother-in-law, Stan Krol.

She is survived by daughters, Karol and John Perry, and Dee Cartwright; son, Claude and Georgianne Zimmerle; daughter, Diane and Rick Lewis; daughter-in-law, Pam Zimmerle; and son, John and Darlene Zimmerle; sister, June Krol; grandchildren, Laura Perry, Jennifer and Dawayne Lamkin, Elizabeth and Corey Galloway, Danielle Lewis, Becky and Chad Lewis, Jason Lewis, Tina Zimmerle, and Andrew, Alexis and Ayden Zimmerle; and 10 great-grandchildren.

 A celebration of life service for Peggy will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday April 7, at the First Baptist Church of Bigfork.
