Local law enforcement officers were told to look for an armed man who attempted to kidnap a 10-year-old girl. The man, possibly in his 30s with brown hair and a brown beard, approached the girl and tried to convince her to come with him, threatening to kill her family if she did not comply. The girl ran away from the man and escaped into a restaurant. The man is reported to have had a gun and been driving a small blue hatchback with a black stripe down the center of the hood and red fuzzy dice hanging on the rear-view mirror. Brown bottles, possibly beer bottles, were seen on the floorboard.
