Anaconda, Frenchtown pool leaders in volleyball

POLSON — Anaconda breezed through pool play with an 8-0 mark on Friday at the Northwestern A vs. Southwestern A Tip-Off Tournament.

That puts Anaconda on top of the Southwestern A volleyball standings.

Corvallis posted a 7-1 mark, while Dillon is 6-2 and Butte Central is 5-3.

Frenchtown, with a 5-3 mark, leads Northwestern A’s pool.

Polson, 4-4, is next, followed by Libby, Whitefish and Polson JV, all at 3-5.

Tournament play continues today.
