BILLINGS — The Glacier Wolfpack looked every bit the team that was picked among the best in the state, blowing out Billings Skyview 38-14 on Friday night.

The offense was clicking all night, with Taylor Hulslander throwing for 257 yards and two touchdowns, each going to senior receiver Kyle Griffith.

Griffith had a mammoth game, also running for a touchdown and kicking a 22-yard field goal. Including extra points, Griffith scored 26 points for the Wolfpack.

Glacier started out quick, scoring on the first drive of the game, before recovering a fumble on the ensuing kickoff and scoring again just a few moments later. The Wolfpack jumped out to a 21-0 lead early in the second quarter on a interception return from Danny Roe.

Skyview rebounded, putting together two long drives to end the half, narrowing the score to head into the break down 21-14.

After halftime it was all Glacier. A 43-yard touchdown from Hulslander to Griffith started off the scoring in the third and ended it in the fourth, with the Wolfpack outscoring Skyview 17-0 in the final 24 minutes.

In addition to the prolific passing game, the Pack ran for 111 yards. Kellyn Faraone led Glacier on the ground with 12 carries for 59 yards.

Glacier’s defense limited the Falcons to 238 total yards, holding the run-heavy offense to just 3.5 yards per carry.

Glacier will host Great Falls CMR on Friday.

The Rustlers lost their opener in Butte, 41-20.
