Blacktail opens Saturday

Blacktail Mountain Ski Area opens for the season on Saturday, Dec. 15.

For opening weekend, the upper mountain will be open: all the Olympic Chair, Thunderhead to the intermediate station and the handle-tow.

Snowfall will determine when lower-elevation terrain will open.

The ski area near Lakeside will be open Saturday and Sunday, be closed Monday and Tuesday, then reopen Dec. 19 and be open every day through Jan. 6.
