If you are looking for a way to help the community and have fun on New Year’s Eve, First Night Flathead could use your help.

First Night Flathead showcases music, arts and activities throughout downtown Kalispell on Dec. 31.

Volunteers are needed at various venues around Kalispell. Volunteers staff the doors of each performance venue, which includes 13 downtown businesses, churches and social facilities.

They are assigned to each performance shift in pairs and check that incoming audience members have admission buttons. Volunteers also sell admission buttons and raffle tickets and make certain that each performance begins on the hour.

Each volunteer receivesone free admission button in addition to their badges that allow admission to all First Night performances. Volunteers also receive gift certificates from Hop’s Downtown Grill.

“Volunteering to staff First Night Flathead performances is a great way to spend the evening with your family and friends,” First Night coordinator Patrice Manget said.

For information on how to volunteer, email Manget at info@firstnightflathead.org.
