Bungees, boarders reported at FHS
Sunday afternoon, a caller reported seeing five or six kids bungee jumping from the arrow and snowboarding at Flathead High School. A Kalispell Police Department officer reported finding no damage to the arrow statue and advised the jumps were dismantled.
Earlier in the day, a caller on Rockefeller Drive off Empire Loop reported damage to a fence. Another fence was damaged on Fly Way.
A caller on Hutton Ranch Road reported finding his car covered in silly string, with his girlfriend's name spelled out on a window. The caller told police that another man has been harassing his girlfriend.
Shortly after midnight, subjects playing loud music in a parking lot on East Idaho Street agreed to either turn the music down or find another location.
A woman showed up in the police department lobby crying and had a huge bruise from being punched in the face. She said a man assaulted her at a Kalispell bar and grill but she refused to give a description of him. She said she did not want to report anything or get any help from law enforcement other than a ride home.
Late Saturday night, a caller reported a blue car and two trucks racing and tailgating each other near South Main Street and West Center Street.
Earlier that evening, a woman on Fifth Avenue West reported that she had just beat up her boyfriend, who then left in a gray truck.
A caller reported four men who were not guests swimming in a pool on U.S. 93. Police asked the men to leave and advised them to not come back.
A caller reported a man in a tan car driving recklessly and giving everyone the finger. Police counseled both parties, who had been exchanging words.
A man on Fairway Boulevard told police he got a phone call from "John Grady" from Jamaica saying he had won $2.5 million and a new car. "John" instructed him to send money, which he did not.
Saturday afternoon, a caller on Ninth Street West reported a woman leaving a store with a purse full of booze to the Columbia Falls Police Department.
A woman on Talbott Pines Loop told police she went to put a gun in the closet of her new home and found what she thought were drugs - white powder in a container with a nozzle on it. She asked police to come get it.
Saturday morning, a caller reported a fraud on O'Brien Avenue to the Whitefish Police Department.
A physical disturbance was reported on Idaho Avenue Saturday night.
Early Sunday morning, suspicious activity was reported on Houston Drive.
