The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office got a report Sunday regarding an unwanted man pounding on a bedroom window at a woman’s home on Eastman Drive in the Bigfork area. He was later located by a deputy and warned not to go near the woman.
There was a report of a woman being beat up by her boyfriend at a Ninth Street West address in Hungry Horse. The boyfriend left; he later was reported as driving and throwing beer bottles from a vehicle that went into a ditch on Hungry Horse Boulevard.
A man calling from a home on Sixth Street North in Martin City reported that an unknown person attempted to break into the residence and beat up his 15-year-old son. The assailant left the area.
There was a report of a man on a mountain bike repeatedly stealing items from a veterans’ pantry drop-off on U.S. 2 east of Kalispell. A deputy caught up to the man and made him return stolen items to the pantry.
There was a report of a fight between a man and a woman involving their children at an address on Coram School Lane. The man left the house for the night.
A man was reportedly caught smoking drugs on the Amtrak train and was kicked off the train when it reached Whitefish.
At about 1:15 a.m. Monday, there was a report of a disturbance involving a woman pulling a gun on another woman at a Falcon Lane address in the Columbia Falls area. Deputies ended up arresting the armed woman for assault with a weapon.
A woman calling from a Coot Court address reported to Kalispell Police Sunday that an unknown man showed up at her house and “choked out” her son before leaving the area in a black Ford Taurus.
Early Monday, at about 2 a.m., an employee at a bar on Woodland Park Drive reported that there was a man who refused to leave after he was involved in a fight at the bar earlier that night.
There was a report of an out-of-control man with a pit bull who was screaming at people at an eatery on Bountiful Drive.
There was a report of $1,700 stolen from a backpack owned by a person who was staying a friend’s house on West Center Street.
There was a report of a burglary at a business on Second Street East, where a rug and pictures on a wall were stolen.
Whitefish Police had a report of a fight at an address on U.S. 93 South at about 11 a.m. Sunday.
