Perrin 3rd, Fraley fourth in Simplot 3,200 run

POCATELLO, Idaho - Zach Perrin and Troy Fraley, both of Kalispell, finished third and fourth, respectively, in the 3,200-meter run finals at the Simplot Games indoor track and field meet Saturday.

Perrin's time was 9:24.22. Fraley finished with a personal best of 9:25.56.

Dallin Farnsworth, of Pocatello, won the 3,200 with a meet record time of 9:10.34.

Derrick Williams, of Columbia Falls, placed ninth in the 800-meter run finals with a personal indoor best time of 1:57.6.

Tyler Smith of Leduc Track Club from Lethbridge, Alberta, won the 800 with a meet record time of 1:49.46.

Kalispell's Lexy Boschee tied for ninth in the high jump.

She cleared 5-4.

All four local athletes competed with the Highlander Track Club.

The meet draws the top high school athletes from the U.S. and Canada.
