| February 18, 2012 8:12 PM

Another string of vehicle break-ins were discovered by the Kalispell Police Department.

Officers first responded to Fourth Street West, where a resident reported someone broke a window out of his vehicle and went through his backpack. While looking for footprints, officers found several other vehicles with windows broken out.

At least seven vehicles were found to have been broken into.

The lack of snow didn’t stop one man from shoveling the dry sidewalk on First Avenue East. A nearby resident reported the man, who was wearing all black, after having contacted police about him in the past.

An officer allowed an elderly man to walk home after he found the man on his bicycle on West Wyoming Street, too drunk to ride it home.

Three boys were reported trying to light hockey goals on fire on an ice pond.

A snowblower was reported stolen from an assisted living home on Three Mile Drive.

A welding helmet, welding jacket and welding gloves were stolen from a vehicle on Grandview Drive.

Officers with the Polson Police Department arrested a driver for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle at a bar on Shoreline Drive.
