Disorderly man taken to motel after complaint

A man who refused to leave a woman's house on 12th Avenue West was taken to a motel early Sunday morning, after the woman told the Columbia Falls Police Department that the man was sending her text messages and calling her names.

Two young boys sitting in a pickup in a church parking lot were reported for being suspicious, but it turned out they were just paper boys waiting for their newspapers.

A verbal disturbance was reported on Martha Road. The caller told police her mom was freaking out.

Following a complaint, people on Ruder View Court told police they were done lighting off fireworks.

Early Saturday morning, an assault was reported on Seventh Street West.

The Flathead County Sheriff's Office investigated a burglary report on First Street East in Columbia Falls at about 5 a.m. Sunday.

Earlier Sunday morning, an assault was reported on Tamarack Lane.

Someone reported a trespasser on Pheasant Road.
