Storage lenders got more than they bargained for?

The Flathead County Sheriff's Office got a report Sunday from a man who claimed that a couple who paid the bill on his storage area on U.S. 93 in Lakeside were stealing all of his belongings, claiming that it all belongs to them now. It was determined to be a civil rather than criminal matter.

There was a report of multiple snowboards and a stereo system being stolen in the Ptarmigan Village area on the Big Mountain.

There was a report of several items being stolen from a residence on Amdahl Lane in the Kalispell area.

A woman calling from Dun Movin Lane residence in the Kalispell area reported that her ex-husband punched her in the face while she was holding their 2-year-old baby.

There was a report of a storage area on Montclair Drive being broken into, with a bow, a log splitter and tools being stolen.

There was a report of two female inmates assaulting each other at the Flathead County Jail. Neither required medical attention.

Kalispell police arrested a woman on felony warrant on Montana 35 in the Evergreen area Sunday.

A person was detained for shoplifting from a store on First Avenue East North.

A person calling from Perry Place reported that a woman came to the residence claiming that her brother beat her up. The reporting party said that it sounded as if the woman had been thrown down some stairs at a residence on nearby Kara Drive.

Monday morning, there was a report of two vehicles being broken into on East Oregon Street.

There was a report of tires being slashed on a vehicle on West Wyoming Street. There was another report of items being stolen from a vehicle.

A person reported that a wallet was stolen from a vehicle on Ninth Avenue East North.

There was a report of a vehicle window being broken out on Sixth Street West, with an iPod being stolen from the vehicle.

There was a report of a laptop being stolen from a vehicle on Third Avenue East North.
