POLSON - Five pins and three wins by forfeit added up to a 51-33 dual meet victory for the Libby Greenchain over host Polson on Thursday.

The Greenchain got pins from Zach Crace (119), Cody Benefield (130), Kyle Leir (145), Austin Bailey (189) and Gunnar Moe (215) while the Pirates had pins by Craig Feistner (125), Alex Nystrom (140), Mike Devlin (152), and Josiah Clairmont (285).

The Pirates wrestled at Libby right before Christmas and had hoped to do better than during that outing.

"We did (do better), but not quite as good as we'd hoped," said Polson coach Bob Owen.

One key match was at 119 between Crace and Polson's Dylan Moll.

The Pirate coaches had high hopes going in, but Crace caught Moll and pinned him at the end of the first period.

Both Libby and Polson will be in Ronan this weekend for the Western Montana Duals.
