Ivamay Polish DiGiovanni, 101

Ivamay Polish DiGiovanni, 101 years old, passed away Sunday, Jan. 8, 2012, at Greenwood Village.

Mrs. DiGiovanni was born in Long Pine, Neb., Feb. 15, 1910, and was the fourth child of Nettie and William Bourn.

She and Matthew Polish were married June 10, 1938. They moved to Matthew's ranch in the Beaverhead Valley outside of Glen. Matthew passed away in 1971.

Ivamay married John DiGiovanni in 1982. John passed away in 1996.

Ivamay was a member of the Epworth Methodist Church for 61 years.

She is survived by her five children, Delbert Polish and companion Joyce Atherton of Kalispell, Rosalie Prichard and husband Barren of Kalispell, Dorothy May Sollman and husband Rick of Spring Hope, N.C., Bonnie Blumer of Woodland, Wash., and Marilyn Schwab of Millington, N.J. Other family members include 13 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Ivamay's family convey their deepest appreciation to Dennis Rasmussen and staff at Greenwood Village for Ivamay's stay there, particularly in her last days.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 14, at Johnson-Gloschat Funeral Home. There will be a viewing from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. prior to services. Burial will be at C.E. Conrad Memorial Cemetery after services.

The family suggests in lieu of flowers a donation in her memory be made to Greenwood Village.
