Robert M. Lange, 56

Robert M. Lange, 56, passed away Sunday, Jan. 8, 2012, as a result of a bus accident near Missoula.

Robert was born Oct. 27, 1955, to Harold and Lillie (Harrison) Lange. He graduated from Sutter High School in Sutter, Calif.

Robert enjoyed writing poetry, sketching, restoring classic automobiles, shooting pool and fishing with his best friend, David Corliss.

Robert's first job was as a forklift driver for Harter's Cannery in Yuba City, Calif. When Harter's closed, he worked as a security guard for several years. Robert then began his lifelong career as a truck driver, which he enjoyed and took him all over the United States.

Robert was a supportive, loving brother and one of the world's best uncles. He will be greatly missed.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Lillie and Harold Lange.

He is survived by his two sisters, Louise Swisher of Kalispell, and Mary Reno of Snellville, Ga.; and five nieces and nephews, Misty Bradshaw, Darryl Swisher and Philip Stephens, all of Kalispell, Raymond Reno of Sandy Springs, Ga., and Erin Sabine of Summerville, S.C.

There will be a celebration of Robert's life from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 15, at Cattlemen's in Kalispell.
