Man warns of Canadians' 'evil plans'

The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office received a report from a resident of U.S. 2 East in Kalispell who believed America will soon be attacked by invaders coming from Canada. The man said he has evidence of the “evil plans” and wanted to speak with a deputy about them. He also said World War III would take place in 30 years or sooner.

It was reported that roughly nine vehicles on Ridgewood Drive in Evergreen were broken into, although no one seemed to be missing anything. There were also footprints around all the vehicles leading to a home, but it is unknown if the prints belonged to the suspect.

A person brought several empty UPS packages in to the sheriff’s office. The person called the man they were addressed to, who said he never received the items.

A resident of Wilson Heights in Kalispell requested a phone call about Jehovah’s Witnesses he said keep trespassing on his property despite his asking them several times not to return.

A pair of men living on Jellison Lane in Columbia Falls were arrested on federal warrants and transported to the Flathead County Detention Center.

A resident of U.S. 2 East in Coram reported someone damaged his tires.

The Kalispell Police Department received a report from a woman who said her sister had been punched by her boyfriend and her ear was bleeding. The woman said the man also hit her. Officers determined the man has an active warrant with the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office and has a history of assault.

A resident of U.S. 93 North reported her daughter was stealing gift cards and selling them at half price.

Several items were reported stolen from a vehicle on Austin Street. The owner reported he found that everything had been dumped in his neighbor’s trash can, except a backpack and a $150 calculator.

It was reported that someone stole items from vehicles on Merganser, Stratford and Teal drives.

Thefts were reported on Wolfpack Way, Copper Road and at a business on U.S. 93 North.

The Columbia Falls Police Department received a report of someone banging on people’s houses on Franlou Park Lane.

A vehicle towing company reported discovering that an abandoned truck it had towed was reported as stolen the night before.

Officers with the Whitefish Police Department made an arrest after responding to a vehicular accident on Creek View Drive.

A person was arrested for an active warrant on Columbia Avenue.

A theft was reported on U.S. 93 South.
