Carly Raeann Dickey, 2 months

Carly Raeann Dickey, 2 months, was born in the evening of Nov. 4, 2011. She came into this world as a little bundle of love with a tenacious spirit. She had her own personality from day one. She had her own way of getting tangled up in your heart strings the moment you saw her.

Carly passed away very peacefully in the early morning hours of Jan. 14, 2012, at her home in Kalispell, of sudden infant death syndrome.

Even though our hearts are broken, we are very thankful for the short time we were given with our own little angel. She will live on in our hearts and through her twin brother, Jack.

Carly is survived by her parents, Brian and Carrie Dickey, of Kalispell, and her twin brother, Jack. She also leaves behind her two faithful golden retrievers, Maggie and Zoey. Other survivors include her maternal grandparents, Jim and Jane Leatherberry, of Buckeye, Ariz., and Bo and Cindy Carpenter of Kalispell; paternal grandparents, Dave and Pat Dickey, of Marion; aunts, Sarah Harvey of Phoenix, and Callie Atkins of Lakeside; uncles, Casey Carpenter of Billings, Clarke Dickey of Whitefish, and Justin and Heather Dickey of Columbia Falls; also by three great-grandmothers and numerous great aunts, uncles and cousins. She is also survived by our extended family in the NICU at Kalispell Regional Medical Center.

Memorial services for Carly will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 20, at the Christian Center.
