Man struck by egg on wheels
The Kalispell Police Department received a report from a man who said he was struck by a car he described as “an egg on wheels,” driven by a person using a cell phone while he was walking on the north side of Northridge Drive. The man was uninjured and told police he has taken harder falls before. He was advised to seek medical attention and notify them if he discovered any injuries later.
A man arrested on an active warrant on Woodland Park Drive told officers he had been assaulted by drunk bouncers who slammed him on the floor and arm barred him. He said the “big, chunky” guys had been taking shots with him before roughing him up and throwing him in the snow outside.
An unwelcome shove and a thrown bottle of soy sauce led to a boy being arrested for disorderly conduct at a youth home on East Oregon Street. The boy had also been threatening staff.
A man was arrested for drunk driving after being found facing the wrong way on Ninth Street.
A pair of Seventh Avenue West residents were counseled by officers after the woman who lives above them reported that she believed they were smoking pot, as her apartment smelled like it and there were vents going between the two apartments.
Several mailboxes were spray-painted yellow on Northridge Drive.

A man was arrested for partner or family member assault on North Belmar Drive.
A resident of West Idaho Street said someone put screws in her tires.
A woman reported that someone went through her car while it was parked near Hutton Ranch Road.
A seventh grade student looking to outsource an act of violence was reported to the Columbia Falls Police Department when they offered to pay someone to beat up another student.
Officers helped a very drunk woman find her mother after a concerned citizen alerted them to the woman, who was kicking and hitting vehicles on Nucleus Avenue.
