Loggers fall to Broncs, Wolfpack in wrestling duals

LIBBY - Libby's wrestling squad closed out regular-season dual action Friday facing two tough foes.

The Loggers, ranked No. 6 in Class A, fell to Frenchtown 44-32 in Northwestern A action.

Libby then dropped a 64-10 dual loss to Class AA's top-ranked Glacier.

Kyle Leir (145 pounds) and Josh Bowers (152) were the only Loggers to go undefeated on the night.

Glacier had eight pins versus Libby - Cody Decker (105); Alek Mitchell (125); Jackson Barber (140); Josh Bowers (152); Riley Pisk (171); Lane Armstrong (189), Jack Tudahl (215) and Mack Sutherland (heavyweight).

Up next for Libby is the Northwestern A divisional on Feb. 4 in Columbia Falls.

Glacier is back on the mats today entertainingHelena High, 5 p.m., and Helena Capital, 7.
