Shawn D. Stevens, 18

Shawn D. Stevens, 18, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2012, in Kalispell.

He was born Jan. 10, 1994, to Vicki (Parrish) Keck and Brent Stevens.

Shawn attended schools in Kalispell and Maui, Hawaii, and lived in Arizona and New Mexico as well.

He enjoyed riding on the lawn mower with Grandpa when he was little, playing basketball, skateboarding, writing rap songs and listening to rap music. He loved animals, especially dogs and cats; working at McDonald’s by Costco; swimming in the ocean and listening to the whales.

A major part of Shawn's life was spending time with friends and his little brother, Brady. 

Shawn is survived by his mother, Vicki Keck, of Kalispell; father, Brent Stevens, and wife, Sherry, of Kalispell; and brother, Brady Keck, of Kalispell; grandparents, George and Barb Parrish; aunts, Laurie Clifton of Kalispell, and Dollie Martin of Boise, Idaho; uncles, Bill Parrish of Kalispell, Jerome Joy of Missoula and Louis DeRosier of Missoula; numerous cousins and special friends, Lori Street and Chris of Arizona and New Mexico, and their children Heather, Aliesha, Nick and Chris.

A memorial service for Shawn will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 1, at Johnson-Gloschat Funeral Home.
