Lillian Haser, 97
Lillian (Griner) Allread Haser died July 1, 2012, at her home in Dora Lake, Minn.
Lillian was born on April 25, 1915, to Francis Clyde Griner and Caroline Louise (Pollmann) Griner near Winnett, where the family homesteaded. The family left Winnett in 1927 and after some traveling, settled in Kenneydale, Wash., where she graduated from eighth grade. The family later moved to Lewiston.
Her working years consisted of owning and cooking in many restaurants, working for seven years as a clerk typist for the government and six years of caring for the elderly. She retired at age 75 when she was living in Kalispell.
In 1994 she moved to Brandon, Minn., with her longtime friend and companion, John Esala. In November 2010, she moved to Dora Lake to live with her daughter, LaDonna Adams.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers; and three sisters; son, Charles Eugene; son-in- law, Dan Adams; and grandson, Danny Jr.
She is survived by her daughter LaDonna Adams of Dora Lake; six grandchildren, Jimmy Allread of Kent, Wash., Mike and Tammy Adams of Long Lake, Minn., James and Natalie Adams, Carolyn and Joe Schmit of Dora Lake, Julie and Jeff Hines of Grand Rapids, Minn., and Patty and Joe Bender of Northome, Minn.; three stepgrandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by one sister, Evelyn Sculatti of Renton, Wash.; many nieces and nephews; and her companion, John Esala.
She will be buried in the Kinghurst Cemetery.
Carroll Funeral Home of Deer River, Minn., is assisting the family with arrangements.
