Larry Ronald Nye, 70

Larry Ronald Nye, 70, of Kalispell and formerly of New Cumberland, Pa., passed away at home on July 2, 2012.

He was born on March 3, 1942, in Hershey, Pa. He was the son of the late Frederick Martin and Velma Beth (Naylor) Nye.

He became disabled in 2001 with Polyarteritis Nodosa Vasculitis. Strokes, diabetes, Alzheimer’s, kidney and heart disease, and multiple other health issues plagued him the past 11 years.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Carol, and a son, Michael and his wife, Angela, and two grandchildren, Joshua and Haley, all of Kalispell. They moved to Montana in 2009 to be near, and ultimately within the same home, as Mike and his family. What a blessing and support they have been to Carol and Larry these past years.

Larry worked in the insurance industry in fidelity and surety bonding and also in sales until his disability.

A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 14 at Grace Church, 1225 U.S. 93 N., in Kalispell, with Pastor Chris Miller officiating. A luncheon will be held immediately following the service.
