Donita Mae Richardson, 50

Donita Mae Richardson, 50, of Columbia Falls, passed away Friday, July 6, 2012, in Columbia Falls.

She was born Feb. 18, 1962, in Pomeroy, Wash., the daughter of Roscoe and Bernice (Johnson) Roberts.

Donita worked at the Columbia Falls Dollar Store for many years. In her spare time she lived her passion to help others, whether it was an animal that needed a home or a friend that needed a place to stay or helping hand, she always was willing. She was the kindest person, always thinking of others and taking care of everyone.

She is survived by her life partner, Kurt Sanders; her four children, Mae Muhlnickel of Seattle, Francis Muhlnickel of Columbia Falls, Virgil Richardson of Grants Pass, Ore., and Angela Muhlnickel of Seattle; and her two grandchildren, Riley and Alexavier. She is also survived by her brother, Dennis Roberts of Vancouver, Wash.; her two sisters, Karen Downs of Columbia Falls, and Sandra Reeds of Deer Island, Ore.; and numerous nieces and nephews and many precious friends, including Tana Sands Langlois, Shane Berlinger and Kathy Tucker

A memorial service is scheduled for 10 a.m., Tuesday, July 10 at Columbia Mortuary in Columbia Falls.
