Benefit planned for young girl with leukemia

A benefit barbecue is planned Thursday, July 12, for Gabby LeDuc,  who was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia on May 18.

The barbecue to raise money for Gabby’s medical expenses will be from 5:30 to 9 p.m. at the Zone Family Fun Center.

Food will be available. A silent auction is from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. and live auction from 7 to 8 p.m.

In honor of Gabby, several mothers and daughters had their hair cut July 5 at Soucie & Soucie in Kalispell as a fundraiser for the Relay for Life.

They included Liz Petrina, Krosby Petrina, Kathy LeDuc, Sara Hall, Azah Petrina, Gabby LeDuc, Emily Hall and Maddy Hall.
