Camas Creek Yarn offers felted scarf class

| July 11, 2012 4:30 PM

Those in search of a hand-crafted project this summer will have an opportunity to learn how to make a felted scarf with Camas Creek Yarn.

The Kalispell yarn store is hosting two classes by Paula Rindal this month. “The Magic of Felt: Cobweb Scarf” will be offered July 21 and July 27.

The classes run from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and cost $35 each. These are individual classes, not a two-session course.

In the class, participants will learn to make a lacy, delicate and strong wet-felted designer scarf. Students will make two scarves in class — one for themselves and one for a friend.

No prior experience is necessary.

Those who want to participate in the class should not have access challenges, as the session will be held downstairs in the yarn store. Students should bring a lunch.

For more information about the class, call Rindal at 756-7957.

Camas Creek Yarn is located at 338 Main St. in Kalispell. To register, call the store at 755-9276.
