Hockaday hosts 44th Arts in the Park

The Hockaday Museum of Art hosts the 44th annual Arts in the Park, Kalispell’s premier arts, crafts and music festival.

The event takes place July 20 through 22 in Depot Park. The festival is open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. July 20 and 21, and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. July 22.

More than 100 local and visiting artists and craftsmen offer quality, unique works for sale at the festival. The event also features a variety of musical entertainment and has food and beverage vendors on scene.

A $5 weekend pass button gives the wearer unlimited admission to the festival all three days, as well as to the Hockaday Museum of Art during the festival.

Otherwise, daily admittance is $3. Children 6 and under get in for free.

The weekend pass button also gets the wearer discounts at other Kalispell museums and downtown businesses. Visit the Hockaday’s website, www.hockadaymuseum.org, for a complete list of discounts.

The entertainment schedule is as follows:

Friday, July 20

• 10 a.m. to noon — Dan Dubuque (blues, rhythm and soul)

• noon to 1 p.m. — Maw Brothers (fiddle, guitar, mandolin)

• 1-3 p.m. — Simone Craft (vocals, acoustic electric guitar)

• 3-5 p.m. — Greg Grant (saxophone, guitar, drums)

Saturday, July 21

• 1-3 p.m. — Barnyard Riot (rockin’ bluegrass)

• 3-4:30 p.m. — Re-Bop (jazz collective)

• 4:30-5 p.m. — Greg Grant (saxophone, guitar, drums)

Sunday, July 22

• 11 a.m. to noon — Lee Zimmerman (vocals, cello)

• noon to 1 p.m. — Burlesco (tango, blues, gypsy jazz)

• 1-2 p.m. — David Walburn (acoustic guitar, harmonica, vocals)

• 2-3 p.m. — Tim Torgerson (acoustic rock)

• 3-4 p.m. — Steve Eckels (solo classical guitar)

• 4-5 p.m. — Greg Grant (saxophone, guitar, drums)
