Lethbridge Elks rip Glacier Twins
WHITEFISH — Lethbridge closed it out with a seven-run eighth inning for a 14-2 West AA American Legion baseball victory over the Glacier Twins Thursday afternoon at Memorial Field.
The loss drops Glacier to 6-35 overall, 0-14 in league play.
The Spitz Elks had 15 hits in the contest.
Nathan Carr led the Twins with two hits, which included a double, and one RBI. Shane Marcial also went 2 for 4 for Glacier.
The Twins have 11 conference games to close out the regular season. They play a doubleheader at the Great Falls Chargers on Tuesday.
The Twins host the AA State American Legion baseball tournament Aug. 1-5.
