Mildred M. Mead, 97

Mildred M. Mead, 97, was born March 27, 1915.

She “went home to be with the Lord” on July 6, 2012, at Wilsonville Retirement Center in Wilsonville, Ore. She will be buried in Woodburn, Ore., beside her husband.

Mildred was one of eight children of Mount Vernon, Ohio.

She moved to Montana in 1992 from Portland.

Her great love was playing the piano for her family and friends, from age 11 until her death.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley L. Mead; and grandchildren, Kimberly J. and Eric S. Mead.

Mildred is survived by her children, Eugene and wife Sheryl Mead of Utah, Roger and wife Lorrain Mead of Montana, and KJ and her husband Dick Taylor of Idaho. She had 12 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and seven great-great-grandchildren.
