Son says his dad shot him in face
Deputies with the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office responded to a Kalispell home on Deerfoot Trail after receiving a call from a man who said his father had shot him in the face. The man pulled a gun on his father during a fight, and the father shot at him with a 12-gauge shotgun. The son was hit in the face with two pieces of shot.
Deputies were unable to locate the father, but left a message with him to come in and share his side of the story the following day. The son refused medical treatment and declined to press charges. All the family members left the home, which was vacant for the remainder of the night.
A person reported hearing gunshots in the area of Conrad Drive. They told police they heard a gunshot, then a scream, a second gunshot, a second scream and then four gunshots in a row. Finally they saw a van pull away from the area.
An Adams Street resident in Lakeside reported that several unknown people trashed his property and used his hot tub while he was gone.
A 3-year-old boy was reunited with his parents after being found riding a big wheel on U.S. 93.
A 19-year-old woman was approached on U.S. 2 West in Kalispell by a couple who wanted to talk to her about modeling.

Smith Valley Sand and Gravel was burglarized, although it is unknown if anything was taken.
Someone broke into several trailers and work buildings and a truck on a U.S. 2 West property in Kalispell.
A Kahn P40 handgun and a pair of shoes were stolen from a locked vehicle on Blenn Street in Bigfork.
A hammer drill was stolen from a trailer on Conestoga Court.
Someone cut a hose outside a Montana 35 home.
The Kalispell Police Department received a report of a man flying an ultralight airplane too close to power lines near Treeline Road, but it was found to be a remote control airplane.
Unruly neighbors were reportedly having a party in an apartment on Appleway Drive. The festivities reportedly happen every night until 2 a.m. An officer stopped by and advised them to keep the noise down, but their neighbor called back and said they were still making noise and were laughing at the officer as he left. The officer went back and threatened to cite them for maintaining a disorderly house.
Two people on all-terrain vehicles, neither one with license plates and one with no tail lights, were reported spinning brodies and doing wheelies in a parking lot on East Idaho Street.
A green and white Kawasaki KTX 450 motorcycle was stolen on 10th Street West.
A person was apprehended at Paddy’s Touchdown Lounge for using a fake ID and being a minor in possession of alcohol.

The Lake County Sheriff’s Office received reports of criminal trespass to vehicles on Pine Street and Summit Drive and a report of a theft from a vehicle on Westview Drive.
The Polson Police Department received a report of criminal trespass at Sacajawea Park.
