Bar patron brags about beating probation

Saturday afternoon, a caller told Kalispell Police about a man who was sitting in the bar drinking and bragging about how he had cut his monitoring bracelet off. Otherwise, the man was not causing any problems, the caller said.

Police arrested a man for driving under the influence and a passenger in the car for an outstanding warrant after a traffic stop at Fourth Street West and Fifth Avenue West.

A woman told police she was concerned because she just found out she lives with a sexual offender. She says she baby sits a little boy and lives by a school and just doesn’t like it.

A tan wallet with blue and red stripes was found at Art in the Park and turned over to police.

Saturday evening, police arrested a woman for driving under the influence. According to a caller, the woman was passed out in a parking lot on East Idaho Street and had scraped a building and almost run over a front curb before trying to buy more alcohol.

A woman reported seeing something walking back and forth dressed in a long, white gown in the apartment complex to the south of hers.

Early Sunday morning, a woman reported a sexual assault. The woman remembered seeing a College Avenue street sign and nothing else.

A man reported a suspected burglary on Cooper Lane.

A woman told police she hit a light pole at Northrise Lane and Hilltop Avenue. Her vehicle was not substantially damaged but the pole was.

A deputy with the Lake County Sheriff’s Office cited someone for forgery early Saturday morning on U.S. 93.

Someone was cited for criminal trespass Saturday evening at the Elmo powwow grounds.

Polson Police Department officers cited someone for disorderly conduct Saturday afternoon on Seventh Street East.

A wallet found on Tamarack Lane was turned in to the Columbia Falls Police Department on Saturday.

Whitefish Police Department officers investigated a theft reported Saturday on Wisconsin Avenue.

Harassment was reported on Minnesota Avenue.

Trespassing was reported on Central Avenue.
