Community input sought for library hours

 Beginning Aug. 6, the Flathead County Library System will survey the community to determine whether library service hours should be adjusted in Kalispell, Bigfork and Columbia Falls.

Through Aug. 27, people may visit a library location for a paper survey or they can take online surveys at www.flatheadcountylibrary.org.

The libraries will not reduce service hours but instead may rearrange hours to better serve the community.

Factors for the decision will include the community survey, staff surveys and statistics of library visits and checkouts.

Any changes to library hours will take effect in the fall.
