Imaginary dog apparently strayed
A Kalispell resident got a surprise when he returned home from camping to find a notice on his door advising him that he had violated the “dog at large” ordinance. He was surprised because he does not own a dog. He reported the incident to the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies arrested a man on Old Griz Trail in Bigfork after his wife reported they had been fighting.
A woman was reported walking along Montana 35 in Bigfork so drunk that she fell in the ditch and almost fell into the road. The person who reported her gave her a ride.

A Bando Lane resident reported hearing a “blood-curdling scream” coming from the south of their location.
Someone broke into a distillery on U.S. 2 East in Coram and stole a cash register.
Several vehicles were broken into along Double Lake Drive. Stolen items included briefcases, a GPS navigation system and other items.
Someone stole a bottle and a half of OxyContin and hydrocodone from a home on Parker Lakes Road in Bigfork.
A motorist was reported spinning brodies in the grass along West Bowman Drive near a school.
A laptop was stolen from a truck on Farm to Market Road.
More than 100 CDs were stolen from a vehicle on Kings Way.
A bicycle was stolen on Rose Heights Lane.
Officers with the Kalispell Police Department responded to Kelly Road after a 13-year-old boy was reported stuck in a swing set and losing circulation in his legs. He could move his legs and wiggle his toes but could not get out by himself. Another child had gone to the boy’s house and asked his mother for butter to try and free him, but she reportedly refused. Officers were finally able to free the boy after about a half hour.
A report of a woman screaming on Second Avenue West turned out to be a man whose girlfriend had just broken up with him.
A concerned resident reported four teenagers were throwing knives into trees and they were bouncing off.
A boy between 9 and 11 years old was seen jumping from roof to roof along Third Avenue West.
A man and a girl were cited and released during a traffic stop on West Reserve Drive. The girl was cited for being a minor in possession and the man was cited for contributing to the delinguency of a minor.
