Guns, gangs and garden gnomes

The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office received a report from a Hungry Horse resident who said they had seen at least five automatic weapons in the home of a person whom they believed was hiding the guns for a motorcycle gang trying to start a club in Hungry Horse.

A lawn ornament thief stole between 15 and 20 garden gnomes from a property on Willow Glen Drive.

Deputies used a Taser on a drunk man in a parking lot on U.S. 2 East in Kalispell after he was reported walking through a drive-through, swearing and trying to climb in the drive-through window.

A woman was reported for obtaining Adderall prescriptions for herself and her children, and then reselling them. She was also reportedly as possibly involved with methamphetamine and heroin. The person reported the activity occurred on a daily basis.

Someone smeared mustard and bologna on four doors at a school on FFA Drive.

A group of four teenagers in a Honda were reported smashing mailboxes on Middle Road in Columbia Falls.

Deputies advised a man to move along after he was reported sleeping in his vehicle for two days on U.S. 2 East in Hungry Horse.

A Farm to Market Road resident reported hearing automatic weapons fire in the area near Twin Bridges Road.

Deputies were unable to locate a group of children who knocked on the door of a Park Avenue home and ran away.

Deputies responded to a fireworks call on Mountain Drive in Hungry Horse.

An unlocked vehicle was burglarized on Many Lakes Drive.

A wallet was stolen from a vehicle on Juniper Bay View Drive in Somers.

The Columbia Falls Police Department received a report that a suspicious vehicle was following an approximately 10-year-old boy on Second Avenue West North and had twice driven slowly past him, scaring him.

A patron at a bar on Nucleus Avenue was transported to his home after showing up at the bar already drunk.
