Driver collides with railroad crossing arm

The Columbia Falls Police Department received a report that a motorist struck a railroad crossing arm on Second Avenue West North, ripping it off.

Deputies with the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office arrested a 14-year-old boy on U.S. 2 East in Kalispell for several active warrants.

An unknown group of people left trash and broken beer bottles in a parking lot on Bierney Creek Road in Lakeside where they were spinning brodies a few nights earlier.

A pair of cars in a garage on East Evergreen Drive were vandalized.

A mailbox was damaged on Juniper Drive.

Officers with the Kalispell Police Department determined a report of a shot fired near the south end of a school on Third Avenue East was a false alarm. The explosion was actually caused by fireworks.

A 17-year-old boy on a skateboard was hit by a motorist on Third Avenue West North, but only sustained abrasions on his leg.
