Cat-Dog smoker set for Monday

The annual Cat-Dog boxing smoker gets going tonight at 7 p.m. at Memorial Park in Whitefish.

Fourteen fighters from Whitefish and Columbia Falls high schools will duke it out to help benefit the Glacier Twins American Legion baseball club. Students have been training for the last month to prepare for their bouts, which consist of three one-minute rounds.

The fighters from Columbia Falls are Monica Benton, Dakota Fowler, Cody Hader, Alyssa VanMounse, Adam Richardson, Leesa Dougherty, Devin Cochran, Jessica Powell, Kyle Nielsen, Byron Kirkland, Dakota Krissie, Blake Nostrant, Brandon Scholz and Jason Williams.

The fighters representing Whitefish are Katie Fredrick, Dyllon Meehan, James Bailey, Jenna-Rose Hanson, Chuck Hill, Shyanne Clark, Wyatt Price, Dani Olson, Auston Bergeson, Madison McWhirter, Aaron Vick, Lindsey Hanson, Mozi Gerber and Austin Giles.
