Violent offender claims not guilty of rape
The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office received an unusual call from a man who said he was sorry and that he called earlier, but that he was not the person who raped the 14-year-old in Whitefish and that he was going to call his mother, who he said was on the governor’s committee. The man did not answer when called back, and he was found to be a registered violent offender for second degree murder.
A resident of Parliament Drive reported their neighbors for piling up garbage along their fence. It had been a problem before and the residents of the offending property were told to get the trash removed within two weeks or they would be cited.
A woman reported she believed her estranged husband tried to break into her Cayuse Lane home, where someone had tampered with her window screens.

The resident said he believed they were empty threats, as the men were so drunk they could hardly stand. He followed them while waiting for police and was hit in the face by one of the men.
A group of 15 men were reported for being loud outside a building on Second Avenue West and that there were cars racing up and down the street and loud music playing, an ongoing problem every Friday.
A First Avenue West resident reported a man in her backyard who would not leave. She was worried he was waiting for someone to come inside so he could follow them in.
