Mountain lion 'put down' in Martin City
A deputy with the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office shot and killed a mountain lion Monday in Martin City. According to Sheriff Chuck Curry, the deputy shot the problem cat at the request of a warden with Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks after they lured it away from a home.
A man was arrested after being found unconscious in the restroom at a business on U.S. 2 East in Kalispell. The man was reportedly being verbally abusive with people when he finally left the store.
A U.S. 2 East resident in Coram reported that someone shot and killed his horse.
A resident of Round Mountain Loop in Marion was reported for using illegal explosives.
Concerned Mission Way South residents reported that someone rang their doorbell and they couldn’t see who it was.
A motorist drove off without paying for $60 in gas from a gas station on U.S. 2 East in Kalispell.
A package was stolen from a mailbox on Somers Road in Somers.
Someone cut the fence to a shop on Montana 35 and stole several tools.
A vehicle was keyed on Trap Road in Columbia Falls.
The Kalispell Police Department received a report that someone either poured gasoline into the book drop at the Flathead County Library or returned several books with gasoline on them. Upon investigation, it was determined there were some books that had gasoline on them and it was believed to be unintentional.
A boy was reported pulling a German shepherd puppy behind him and kicking it as he rode his bicycle along U.S. 93 South.
A man trying to find his home was reportedly walking from house to house on Seventh Avenue West trying to open doors. He eventually made it inside his own house.
A window was broken out on Conrad Drive, where some youths had admitted shooting windows with slingshots.
