Questionably dressed girl reported
The Kalispell Police Department received a report from a concerned resident about an 11-year-old girl who was dressed in an unusual fashion asking for money to see a movie. The resident was afraid the girl was being used for drug trafficking. Officers later picked the girl up and dropped her off with her mother.
A man stopped by the police department to report several assaults and to turn himself in for lying on a statement.
A group of youths skateboarding on East Idaho Street were reported waxing down the edge of a concrete dock to do tricks on. Employees have been injured slipping on the wax.
A Second Avenue East North resident reported two people with backpacks in his yard who rang his doorbell, and then ran away, ducking behind trees and vehicles. He said there is a history of break-ins in the neighborhood.
A Green Briar Drive resident was bit by his neighbor’s dog, leaving his arm open and bleeding.
A woman sitting in a car was reported as putting a rubber band around her arm, possibly using drugs, on Airport Road.
A syringe and needle were found on a station wagon in an alley off North Main Street.
A resident of a Glenwood Drive apartment reported someone in the complex was smoking marijuana.
A cellphone was stolen from an apartment on Liberty Street.
A disturbance on West Cottonwood Drive was reported to the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office after a drunk woman tried to force her way into a home with a rake and threw a shovel at the door. The person who reported her believed she may have been on drugs at the time. The reporting party did not want to press charges.
Someone ransacked a building on U.S. 2 East in Kalispell and stole medicine.
Someone broke two doors and windows on a van on Helena Flats Road.
A person was seen stealing construction cones on West Idaho Street.
