A 26-year-old Spokane man pleaded not guilty Thursday in Flathead District Court to a pair of felony charges.

Steven Dickinson is charged with assault with a weapon and criminal endangerment after allegedly pointing a gun at a man during a fight outside the Bulldog bar.

According to a court document, an officer arrived at the bar for a report of a man armed with a handgun and found Dickinson, who matched the description of the man.

As the officer approached, Dickinson threw a small object into the bushes. The officer handcuffed Dickinson and retrieved the item, a handgun.

The document states that one of the men with whom Dickinson had fought told officers that the fight broke out after the bar had closed, and during the fight he ended up on the ground. He said that when he got up, Dickinson pointed a gun at his face.

Another participant in the fight allegedly told police that Dickinson had pulled out the gun and said “I’m going to kill all of you,” then cocked it, at which point the man hid behind his truck.

If convicted of all charges, Dickinson faces up to 30 years in jail and a fine of up to $100,000.

His next hearing is scheduled for June 13.
