Flower theft caught on video

The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office got a report Sunday from a gallery on Electric Avenue in Bigfork regarding a woman stealing a basket of flowers. The theft was captured on video.

There was a report of a theft of a wallet and an iPod from an unlocked vehicle on Stage Ridge Road in the Bigfork area.

A person calling from a Ridgewood Drive address reported they had caught a cat in a live trap, and it was thrashing around. The person requested assistance but was advised to transport the cat to the county animal shelter on their own.

A woman calling from First Avenue South in Hungry Horse reported her license plates had been stolen.

There was a report of a toddler wandering around on Montana 206 near Columbia Falls who was secured by a passerby. The child’s father was at a nearby home, but the child managed to get out the front door without his knowledge.

At about 1:30 a.m. Monday, there was a report of a fight at a residence on First Street Southeast in Hungry Horse that apparently ended with a man being transported to Kalispell Regional Medical Center for treatment.
