Picnic in the Park concerts start Tuesday
Kalispell Parks and Recreation’s annual Picnic in the Park concert series kicks off next week.
Free concerts featuring a wide variety of local bands will take place twice a week all summer long at Depot Park.
Tuesday night concerts are from 7 to 9 p.m. and will include a farmers market from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesday concerts take place during lunch, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Vendors selling food and beverages will be set up both days.
Fresh Ink will kick off the concerts Tuesday, with their blend of classic rock. Kate McLaughlin will play spirit-lifting folk-pop Wednesday.
Other performers this month include Spring Wagon Stringband playing bluegrass June 26, and Soul City Cowboys playing funky country with a twist of rock ‘n’ roll June 27.
