<p>Brandon Nelson of Kalispell helps fix bikes at the Homeless Connect event on Thursday morning, June 6, at Samaritan House in Kalispell. Nelson is a member of the Kalispell Wheelmen, a mutant bike club, helping out at the event is a service project for the organization.</p>

<p>James Corwin of Kalispell works on a miniature painting on Saturday morning, June 9, at the Think Local Art Fair on the Courthouse Lawn in Kalispell. The fair continues today from 9 to 4 on the west side of the courthouse. This is Corwin's first year taking part in the the Think Local fairs. The next Think Local is scheduled for August 24-26.</p>

<p>Rod Douglas, pipe major with the Montana Highlanders Association pipe and drum band, adds a touch of Celtic flair to the band's garage sale on Friday afternoon, June 8, by playing the bagpipes as visitors sift through the items for sale. The band held the sale this weekend to raise funds for their new uniforms. The sale continues Saturday and is being held at the intersection of 4th Avenue E and 9th Street across from Hedges School in Kalispell.</p>

<p>Michael Yap of Cross Point Ministries displays the plans for a Christian-based orphanage in Kalibo, Aklan in the Philippines. Yap will travel to the Philippines for the grand opening of the orphanage on June 21.</p>
