After a three-day trial and a little more than two hours of deliberation, a jury found 25-year-old Kandice Tellegen of Kalispell guilty of felony charges of burglary and theft.

The verdict was delivered after the trial wrapped up in Flathead District Court on June 6, with a unanimous result.

Tellegen was convicted of participating in the burglary of a Spring Hill Road home along with Aaron Zelenik, Jeffrey Weldele and Ashley Ekern.

The burglary occurred between Dec. 19, 2011 and Jan. 12, 2012.

Zelenik, Weldely and Ekern had already pleaded guilty to their parts in the burglary.

District Judge Katherine Curtis refused a request by Tellegen’s attorney to allow her to remain on house arrest until the sentencing, but said a bond hearing could be held at a later date.

Sentencing was scheduled for Aug. 9.
