Planting a special orchard

From left, Aarron Clark, Tommy Diegel, Ryan Daub and Rylee Attard plant an apple tree Monday morning during the building of Grace Orchard at Kalispell Middle School. The orchard is named after retiring Principal Barry Grace. The school took first place in a contest to win an orchard put on by Dreyer’s Fruit Bars and The Fruit Tree Planting Foundation. Volunteers planted 30 apple, plum and pear trees.
